I have a history of food hobbies that "get out of hand". First is was artisan bread made with a natural leaven, using stone ground organic wheat and baked in a wood fired oven. That came after living in California for a while. Then it was award winning farmstead cheese while dairy farming in the Champlain Valley of Vermont. This time I'm making tasty gluten-free, crisps using mostly Maine grown ingredients.
Through each of these food adventures is the common thread of my passion for good food, made from quality organic ingredients and farmers who practice sustainability. I believe, if we eat minimally processed food, from farms that care deeply for the land, then we will be happier and healthier.
